It's 11:24 on Friday and I'm sitting at the computer. Mum's at work, and she told me to have some housework done by the time she gets back. When she does get back, we're going to go to Ginger for a while. The new series of the IT Crowd starts tonight.
This is, like, the perfect day. :)
I remember in 6th year, if I was especially exhausted, I'd just choose to have one of these "nothing" days every now and again. I'd cuddle up on the sofa with Coco and we'd watch Oprah. By some miracle I managed to never really fall behind in secondary school, which made these days possible. DIT had minimal enough hours, which made tiredness something of a rarity. Pulse is different. I'm terrified of getting a bad cold or a kidney infection or needing another knee op - anything that might make me miss a day. I love that every day brings tons of new things and learning, but I'm still very much intimidated by all the new things I'm seeing and hearing and assimilating. Thank fook they give us a good few Fridays off.
I'm applying for a job in Dundrum today in the hope of earning some moneys to get people nice things for Christmas. The job involves selling mad expensive audio equipment to people. fingers crossed. If the hours mean I don't get to see Ginger as much though, fuck that.
best horse.
